Hyperstar ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard information when you access or use our platform and services. By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We encourage you to read this document carefully.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use our Service:

• Account information: Name, email address, password, and company details provided at registration
• Profile information: Job title, profile photo, preferences, and other details you add to your account
• Communication data: Messages, outreach records, and correspondence conducted through our platform
• Usage data: Log files, IP address, browser type, pages visited, features used, and interaction data collected automatically as you navigate the Service
• Connected Google account data: Google account email address, basic profile information, granted OAuth scopes, encrypted authorization credential, provider message identifiers, and send results, as described in Section 4

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service and its features
• To authenticate your identity and maintain the security of your account
• To process transactions and send related notices and confirmations
• To send service updates, technical notices, and support messages
• To analyze usage patterns and develop new features and functionality
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
• To respond to your inquiries, comments, and support requests

Google user data is used only as described in Section 4 and is excluded from the general marketing and analytics uses above.

4. Google User Data and Connected Gmail

When you choose to connect Gmail, Hyperstar accesses only the Google user data and permissions needed to provide the connected-email feature:

• We access your Google account email address, basic profile information, and granted OAuth scopes to identify and display the mailbox you connected.
• The https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send scope lets Hyperstar send messages that you create or approve through the Service. Send-only access does not permit Hyperstar to read, modify, or delete messages in your Gmail mailbox.
• We encrypt refresh tokens at rest. Short-lived access tokens remain in memory only. We store provider message identifiers, send results, and the outreach records needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the feature.
• We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising, unrelated profiling, or training general-purpose AI or machine-learning models. We transfer it only as needed to provide the user-facing feature through service providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality and equivalent Limited Use restrictions, maintain security, comply with law, or with your explicit consent. Personnel may access it only with your consent, to investigate abuse or a security incident, or where required by law.
• Disconnecting Gmail revokes or disables the authorization and removes the stored credential. You can also revoke access from your Google Account and request deletion from our Privacy Team at privacy@hyperstarai.com.
• After disconnect, the mailbox address, basic profile, granted scopes, provider message identifiers, and send results remain with the connected-account and outreach records while your Hyperstar account is active and until those records are deleted. We delete eligible data after a verified deletion request, except where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or law.

Hyperstar's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating the Service, subject to confidentiality agreements. We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Hyperstar, our users, or the public. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Google user data is governed exclusively by Section 4 and is not transferred as part of a corporate transaction without your explicit prior consent.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve our Service, remember your preferences, and analyze usage. You may control cookie settings through your browser preferences; however, disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Service. We may also use third-party analytics tools that collect information about your use of the Service in aggregated form.
